Howe of Torbeg

Gorgeous Glamping in the heart of the Cairngorms and Royal Deeside. Stay in one of Howe of Torbeg's four wooden Glamping Pods or our off-grid Shepherd's Hut, unique accommodation surrounded by open farmland and serene birch woodlands. Guests can access great walks and beautiful Scottish countryside straight from their Pod, whilst being only 5 miles from the picturesque village of Ballater with its shops, cafes and restaurants. Beautiful inside and out, the Pods come with warm bedding, are fully insulated and have electric heating should you need it for colder days. Outside each Pod find a Kadai fire bowl for BBQs & nights under the stars, as well as a small deck area and picnic bench. The Shepherd's Hut has a wood burning Hobbit stove to keep it cosy and excellent solar lighting. All of the accommodations have beautiful views down Glen Gairn, and are supported by environmentally conscious on-site facilities. The Cairngorms is the largest National Park in the UK (twice as big as the Lake District) and one of the best places in the UK to see wildlife. It also has some of Britain's best dark skies - look out for our Stargazing Evenings which run October - March each Winter!
