This year’s theme, Poetry Is In The Streets, brings an innovative twist, celebrating text and poetry-based artworks that invite reflection and inspiration in everyday spaces.

Launched in 2017, Nuart Aberdeen has grown into one of the world’s leading street art festivals and a major highlight of the city’s cultural calendar. Over the years it has attracted a global lineup of artists who bring large-scale murals, paste-ups, stencils, installations and hidden gems to the Granite City.
Nuart’s impact extends far beyond festival weekend. With over 60 artworks now forming Aberdeen’s outdoor street-art collection, the festival continues to draw visitors year-round and has been widely praised in the media, including being named among the best street art festivals in the world by The Financial Times and hailed as a cultural highlight by The Independent.
