The Gordon Guest House

Built in the 1860s, The Gordon sits directly opposite the beautifully restored former railway station and was once a luxurious home for the local bank manager. All accommodation is on the first and second floors. Located in Royal Deeside at the edge of the Cairngorms National Park and just a few miles from Balmoral Castle, The Gordon is an ideal base for walking, cycling, winter sports, nature rambles, birdwatching, and exploring historic buildings. The area also offers dark skies perfect for stargazing.

Each of the four well-appointed en suite rooms features a super-king size bed, smart TV, sofa, Fairtrade tea and coffee tray, and Scottish snacks.

Three rooms can be configured as twins and one as a triple; all rooms are available for single occupancy.

Room 1 includes a jacuzzi whirlpool bath, perfect for unwinding after a day outdoors.

Start the day with a selection from the extensive breakfast menu, with ingredients sourced locally wherever possible. Alongside the popular hearty Scottish cooked breakfast, vegetarian, vegan, and lighter healthy options are also available.
