Smoke and Soul at The Old Smiddy

The Old Smiddy at Murcar, Bridge of Don, is the team’s Smokehouse, Café, and events space. Join us for brunch, lunch, coffees, and cakes throughout the week, or attend one of our many events hosted by the team throughout the year, such as Texas BBQ-themed dining experiences, seasonal celebrations, and pub quiz nights. The menus focus on showcasing quality-assured Scottish meats and high-quality ingredients, served as hearty comfort food. The venue is family-friendly, and dogs are welcome at all Smoke and Soul locations.

The team also provide outside event and wedding catering and have a second venue, open evenings and weekends, called The Firepit – a casual BBQ and craft beer bar in Aberdeen’s city centre, just around the corner from Marischal College.
