Once a simple old stone cottage dating back to the 1700s, Crossgates has been lovingly refurbished to become a charming characterful holiday home.

The Davron prides itself on its reputation for good food, with a genuine passion for cooking using fresh, locally sourced ingredients, particularly seafood.

Rosehearty has two harbours, the old harbour formed of two stone piers and 2 acres in extent. Port Rae Harbour, now disused, lies to the east and has an area of 10 acres. Forty years ago, during the herring season, it was barely large enough for all the drifters landing their fish for the twelve curers of Rosehearty.

New Aberdour beach is sheltered behind the cliff edge, the road to the beach is an adventure in itself, making this area along the Aberdeenshire coast a unique place to visit.
