About Winter Infusion Making Workshop - The Barn
Join us to celebrate winter together and create a warming winter infusion using local wild leaves, herbs and berries. With botanical expert, Milla Woods, learn the principals of mixing leaves, herbs and spices for winter drinks such as mulled wine, cider, gløgg, herbal tea and marsala chai. There will be discussions around what can be foraged for this time of year and how to prepare the ingredients for infusion. A large selection of natural materials will be on hand to experiment with.
The workshop is presented by Milla Wood, the owner of Leaves and Snails. She collects leaves and herbs from the local woods, farms, and gardens. Her most popular blend, Tyrebagger, was inspired by Aberdeenshire woods and became a finalist of the North-East of Scotland Food and Drinks Awards in 2022.
