The Barn

Converted from a suite of old farm buildings on the Leys Estate just outside Banchory, and overlooking the stunning Deeside landscape, the Barn provides the perfect location for bespoke corporate events, weddings, and private parties.

It offers an ideal out-of-town option for:

Combining flexible theatre and gallery rooms with full technical support and access to outdoor informal Wild Garden spaces. We combine rustic charm with high-quality provision, including on-site licensed catering from BuchananFood.

The Barn is equipped to a high technical standard and has extensive experience hosting national companies, industry events, and bespoke private celebrations.

Only 30 minutes from Aberdeen, with excellent transport routes and ample onsite parking, the Barn can accommodate events for up to 250 guests theatre-style or 300 for standing events.

As a registered charity, all money raised from venue hires goes directly into supporting our creative programme and educational workshops. By hosting your event at the Barn, you are also contributing to community well-being by helping provide access to the arts.
