Juliette Lemoine & Chris Amer - The Barn

Two exceptional and accomplished new voices on the Scottish music scene, Juliette Lemoine (cello) and Chris Amer (tenor guitar) together explore traditional Scottish music with originality, energy and depth. 
Recent highlights include their headline performance at Celtic Connections (2024), performing at London Jazz Festival (2024), and supporting folk supergroup LAU at Kings Place, London (2024).
Individually, they have established themselves on the UK scene: Lemoine’s debut album ‘Soaring’ launched with a sold-out headline show at Celtic Connections (2023), and was later long-listed for the Scottish Album of the Year award (2023), whilst Amer’s distinctive sound and unique playing style have led to his being widely sought after across the Scottish jazz and folk scenes, touring regularly with Matt Carmichael and the Danny-Kyle Award-winning band ‘Tern’. 
Together, Juliette Lemoine & Chris Amer’s live performances are an immersive dialogue characterised by rich emotional colour, close interaction and vibrant spontaneity.
