About Men Should Weep by Ena Lamont Stewart - Aberdeen

Ten Feet Tall's Ensemble Productions return to the Craig Theatre at Robert Gordon's College, Schoolhill, with this great Scottish classic.

Ena Lamont Stewarts Men Should Weep is a powerful and compelling story of family, community, and resilience set in 1930s Scotland. The play vividly portrays tenement life during the Depression, bringing to life a cast of fascinating characters who illuminate a significant chapter in Scotlands past. It explores the challenges and inequalities of daily life, with moments of warmth and humour woven throughout this deeply moving drama.

Immerse yourself in a story that examines the strength of human connection, showing how community and compassion endure even in the toughest times - a message that continues to resonate today.

Ensemble Productions is Ten Feet Tall's community company made up of local adults of all ages, who meet weekly to rehearse and create performances together.

This amateur production of Men Should Weep is presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals Ltd on behalf of Samuel French Ltd. www.concordtheatricals.co.uk
