About Poised Statue

Standing at 15m high and weighing over two tonnes is the Poised Statue in the new Marischal Square. This steel masterpiece was unveiled in November 2017. It was designed by Scottish sculpture, Andy Scott, whose other notable works include the Kelpies. Scott said that the leopard is poised and ready to pounce to represent Aberdeen as it stands economically for the next decade.Return after dark to see the statue in a whole new light.<
