Old Blackfriars

Old Blackfriars in Aberdeen has seen some sights from Dominican monks, public executions on the cobblestones outside, and the end of Aberdeen Castle in the 14th century, to name a few. Our quirky spot feels like a true step back in time, set across two floors with low ceiling beams, ornate stained glass and church pews for seating.

Join us for a weekly Tuesday quiz night, Thursday's folk music session, Our poker nights or just for some traditional pub food. We've got all your favourites, from succulent steaks and hearty pies to indulgent puddings. Wash it all down with a drink from our bar, including wines, beers, spirits and signature cocktails.
