Greyhope Bay Ltd

Greyhope Bay is a charity which helps communities connect with each other, their environment, and place. Following a decade of community development and grassroots fundraising, the Greyhope Bay Centre opened in 2022. The Greyhope Bay Centre, which provides spectacular views of the coast, is an off-grid community centre and cafe based at Torry Battery, a scheduled historic monument, in Aberdeen. During a visit to our cafe, visitors can enjoy a local pastry and big cup of coffee whilst watching and learning about the jumping Bottlenose Dolphins through the free-to-borrow binoculars and information guides. In addition to our cafe offering, we also have a free and affordable established programme of engagement, which includes education for people of all ages, arts, community gatherings, environmental stewardship and bringing people together to share knowledge and ideas that will benefit local people, community, and environment.
