About Cruden Bay Golf Club

Offering 27 holes, the Course provides an internationally famous golfing experience — old-fashioned links golf at its best on one of the best links courses in Scotland.

Originally designed by Tom Morris of St Andrews and Archie Simpson in 1899, and re-designed in the 1920s by Tom Simpson and Herbert Fowler, the course creates unique challenges demanding the skills of power, placement, and fine judgement from the discerning golfer.

Set against a backdrop of subtly contoured greens and magnificent panoramic views, our Course truly justifies the accolades it receives.

  • Currently No. 13 in Scotland on the Golf World Scottish Top 100.
  • In 2017, VisitScotland voted our 9th hole as the best view from any golf course in Scotland.
