Castleton Farm Shop & Cafe

Stop by Finzean Farm Shop to explore a fantastic range of local produce and artisanal treats. With plenty of choice from game and venison to baked goods and Finzean honey, it’s the perfect place to pick up ingredients or souvenirs from the region. Don’t miss the chance to chat with the friendly team about their local suppliers.
Barra Berries Farmshop & Kitchen
Start your day with a delicious breakfast at Barra Berries. With plentiful choice of both food and drink, you’ll have no problem fueling up for the day ahead. Don’t forget to have a look at their stock from local suppliers and take home a punnet of delicious strawberries.
You can also extend your trip and book a farm tour, a great way to learn more about the life of a Barra berry!
Marshall's Farm Shop
At Marshall’s Farm Shop, there is something guaranteed to take your fancy.
Explore the business’ wide variety of local produce and gifts. Including their vast selection of baked goods and Scottish liquors.
Hungry for lunch? The restaurant offers a varied menu of hearty dishes, all made from the produce available in the shop. Bonus points for being dog friendly!
Forest Farm - The Organic Dairy
Rightfully awarded for their flavoursome gelato and sorbet, experience delicious organic dairy products in Aberdeenshire at Forest Farm Dairy. Not in the mood for ice-cream? Why not grab a hot chocolate or a tasty wood fired pizza to enjoy in one of their heated, dog friendly domes.
Don't leave empty handed, check out the farms unique milk vending machines, taking home some organic dairy milk to enjoy after you leave.

Aberdeenshire Highland Beef
Before our local produce and farm shop journey comes to an end, be sure to stop by and meet a herd of cattle led by Grace on Lochton Farm.
After a warm welcome, Grace will take you around the farm, where she will share her knowledge of these magnificent animals.
This experience is wrapped up with the opportunity to taste Grace’s Highland Beef, along with some beer, whisky and shortbread.
The Cowshed Restaurant & Takeaway
Finish your adventure with a lovely meal with beautiful views over of the Hill of Fayre. The Cowshed Restaurant supports the local community with their usage of locally sourced ingredients.
In addition to standard dining you can also get a traditional takeaway "chipper", or fish and chips for those less local! Grab a supper and wander around the charming town of Banchory.
