Strings of Joy - Aberdeen Art Gallery

The sound of harps fills Cowdray Hall this November as Harps Accord presents Strings of Joy.

Led by Dr Irene Watt, this concert is a celebration of music, friendship and the spirit of the festive season. From delicate melodies to rich ensemble arrangements, the many voices of the harps come together to create a sound that is uplifting, magical and uniquely their own.

Whether you are a lifelong lover of the harp, discovering its beautiful sound for the first time, or simply looking for a special way to begin your Christmas celebrations, you are invited to share this afternoon of music, joy and togetherness in Cowdray Hall.

Harps Accord is a mixed-ability harp ensemble made up of members of the North East Scotland Branch of the Clarsach Society. Bringing together players with a wide range of experience and musical backgrounds, the ensemble demonstrates just how joyful and rewarding it can be to make music together.
