Lunchbreak Concert: Haxan - Aberdeen Art Gallery

Experience an atmospheric performance from acclaimed musicians Matthew Kilner (saxophone), Graeme Stephen (guitar) and Neil Birse (piano). Drawing on music they composed to accompany the trailblazing 1922 silent film HÄXAN, the trio blend composition and improvisation to create a captivating sound piece inspired by themes of mystery, folklore and the supernatural.

This performance showcases excerpts from their newly commissioned work, allowing the unique musical interplay between the three musicians on stage.

Original music by Matthew Kilner, Graeme Stephen and Neil Birse, commissioned by NEAT and Haddo Arts for the Festival of Darkness screening of HÄXAN.
