Apple Picking Workshop - Pitmedden Garden

Join us for a hands-on apple picking workshop and discover the traditional skills involved in harvesting apples.

The workshop will be practical and informal, with plenty of opportunities to get involved, ask questions and experience apple picking for yourself.

You will learn how to identify apples that are ready to pick and how to harvest them correctly without damaging the fruit.

You can expect to spend time outdoors in the garden, so please dress appropriately for the weather and wear comfortable sturdy footwear.

The workshop offers an enjoyable opportunity to learn more about apple growing and harvesting while getting hands-on experience whether you are an experienced gardener or simply interested in orchards.

At the end of the workshop, you will take home a free bag of apples that you have harvested yourself.
