Explorr Festival - King George V Park

explorr is Scotland's outdoor endurance festival, set in Banchory on the edge of the Cairngorms National Park.

Three days of running, riding and music in the big landscapes of Royal Deeside. The explorr Gravel Cycling Stage Race sends riders across a 120km route of four timed stages — forest tracks, quiet backroads, punchy climbs, fast descents. Gravel Running covers 5km, 10km, half marathon and marathon distances off-road. A Charity Night Hike raises funds for Prostate Cancer UK, Breast Cancer UK, and Banchory Outdoor and Active.

At the heart of it all is the Festival Village, open to everyone: live music from sunset sets to headliners, athlete talks, an outdoor expo with premium brands, street food and local flavours, and cold pints served with river air and post-race stories.
