NAFCo Irene Watt & Adam Sutherland - Fiddle and Clarsach Workshop - North East Scotland College: Aberdeen City Campus

Join Irene Watt and Adam Sutherland for this unique harp and fiddle workshop where they will weave and intertwine melody and harmony to create beautiful arrangement possibilities, and playing to the strengths of both instruments they will explore chord patterns, riffs and rhythms as ways of accompanying faster fiddle tunes. The clarsach and fiddle make a wonderful pairing. If you are a clarsach player and have wanted to join in sessions but felt intimidated then this is the workshop for you. If you are a fiddle player who loves a good tune enhanced by the beauty of the clarsach then this is the workshop for you.
