Learn to Crochet - Ruthrieston Community Centre

Would you like to learn how to crochet? These small group workshops will get you started!

This event is a 2 session evening class. You should attend both sessions.
In these workshops with Fiona Meade Crochet you will learn the core crochet stitches – chain, double, and treble crochet. You will also learn how to read crochet patterns. In the first class we will begin your first project, a cute bunny.

You will have time to practice between the two sessions. In the second class we will troubleshoot and you will learn how to crochet in the round and make an iconic granny square.

This class is suitable for complete beginners. You do not need to have crocheted before.

Light refreshments and all materials are included in the course fee. This includes 5 hours of tuition, all your notes and patterns, 3 balls of yarn, a hook, a yarn needle and a stitch marker.
