Learn to Crochet - Deeside Stitches

Would you like to learn how to crochet? Fashionable and very portable, crochet is the perfect craft to take up in 2026.

This event is a 2 session Saturday morning class. In this workshop with Fiona Meade Crochet you will learn the core crochet stitches – chain, double, and treble crochet. You will also learn how to change colour and read crochet patterns. We will learn how to work in rows, in circles and the iconic granny square! We will make a cosy ear warmer as our first project.

This class is suitable for complete beginners. You do not need to have crocheted before.

Light refreshments and all materials are included in the course fee. This includes all your notes and patterns, 5 hours of tuition, 2 balls of yarn (chose your own colours from the shop), a hook, a yarn needle and a stitch marker.
