Giz Giz Youth Theatre are delighted to present the ultimate feel-good musical Annie – the beloved American, Broadway musical based on the comic strip little Orphan Annie.

It tells the story of a feisty 11 year old orphan who lives in a miserable orphanage run by the cruel, but hilariously funny Miss Hannigan.

Desperate to find her real parents, Annie’s luck changes when billionaire Oliver Warbucks decides to invite the orphan to stay with him over Christmas.

Annie quickly charms Warbucks and his staff, and he grows to love her like a daughter. As he helps her search for her parents, a scheme unfolds when Miss Hannigan’s brother Rooster and his girlfriend Lily try to impersonate Annie’s parents to claim a reward. Eventually, the truth is revealed, and Warbucks adopts Annie, giving her the family she’s always longed for.
