About Blooms and Bites Family Fun Day - Schivas House
Blooms and Bites is a joyful, community-focused family event created to bring people together while supporting the incredible work of Rainbow Rogues. Designed with inclusivity at its heart, the event offers a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere where families of all kinds can enjoy quality time, connect with others and make special memories.
Little ones can explore a world of fun with face painting, bouncy castles and hands-on craft activities, while live music creates a lively feel-good backdrop throughout the day. A special appearance from Bluey adds an extra touch of excitement, alongside a thoughtfully curated makers’ market celebrating talented local businesses. Delicious food vendors ensure there’s something tasty for everyone to enjoy.
With a strong focus on creating supportive, judgement-free spaces, Blooms and Bites celebrates community spirit, encourages connection and helps raise vital support for families of children with additional support needs. It’s a chance to enjoy a meaningful day filled with smiles, laughter and moments that matter — all while contributing to a cause that makes a real difference.
Dedicated ASN-friendly hour runs from 10am–11am, featuring reduced capacity, lower noise levels and a calmer environment to support children with additional support needs and their families. After 11am, the event opens fully with increased visitor numbers and live music at a typical volume for a family event.
Activities such as face painting, bouncy castles and crafts are included within admission, however some independent market vendors may charge separately for products or services. Food and drink are available to purchase from on-site vendors.
While the event is designed primarily for families with young children, all ages are welcome. The venue is largely accessible, with parking available on-site. Visitors should note that the event takes place at a working rural steading, so some areas may have uneven ground.
Bluey character appearance times may vary slightly throughout the day to allow for comfort breaks.
