DESCRIPTION
Walkers will cross the Dee River and head through the woods along an old drove road towards Dalmochie, a camp where Canadian lumberjacks stayed during the Second World War. We will then head up the road to Pannanich Wells to hear about the ancient healing springs and the history of Deeside Mineral Water. The Springs became famous around 1760 after a local woman was cured of a fatal disease.
After a short bus ride, we will then be dropped off to walk back alongside the River Dee, with stunning views up, down and across the valley.

TERRAIN
This is an easy special interest walk on mainly firm earth tracks, with some pavement walking and a few steps to access the Wells.
