DESCRIPTION
From Groddie, we make a steep ascent to Balhennie, a deserted bothy that once served as home to a local sheep farmer. We continue up towards the lower flanks of Morven. We then ascend Roar Hill, which offers spectacular views of the landscape surrounding the villages of Tarland and Logie Coldstone, and to the hills of Pressendye beyond. Our zig-zag descent brings us back to Bridgefoot, where we cross the Coinlach Burn, passing Milton of Whitehouse Farm and back to our bus at Groddie.

TERRAIN
This walk is short in length, involving steep ascent and descent. Mainly single track paths, with some heather-bashing. Walking poles recommended as it may be wet underfoot.
