Our Crathes Castle Christmas Fair takes part in a tented village on the horse mill lawns and within the horse mill itself surrounded by the beautiful gardens of Crathes Castle Estate. It will feature charming wares from across the breath of Scotland – all brought together for three days in magnificent Aberdeenshire. It is the perfect opportunity to purchase something uniquely special or indeed wonderfully delicious.

For those with a particular interest in food we have some ideal suggestions; preserves made with botanical spirits and liquors to add that something special, a lovely collection of Scallops, lobster, smoked fish and pate and more for all fish lovers and for those meat gourmets; delight in the fresh game of steaks, pies, sausages and ready meals. Together with an extensive range of cheeses, delicious fudges, honeys, exquisite home baking and Belgian chocolates we hope to cater for all palates.

Unique ideas for gifts and treats abound, from a fine collection of artists from across Scotland. From beautifully unusual stained and fused glass to children’s attire, silk accessories and tweed apparel. There will be the ever popular hand forged metal work, antler work, detailed ceramics, luxurious textiles and jewellery in many, many different genres. For those lovely stocking fillers look no further than the organic and vegan soap & skincare ranges as well as candles, reed diffusers and wax melts. Whatever you choose, choose wisely and spend it on something you love!

A fine range of rums, craft beers, gins, rums, vodkas, liquors and botanical spirits will make for a great Christmas present most especially when they can be sampled in advance.

Roaring Stag will have their highly sought after teas, coffees and hot chocolate. Auld Smokey will be on hand with their deliciously tempting wood fired pizzas and Seasonal Flavour with their wild pheasant or chicken in brioche, venison or vegetarian burritos, home made fries etc….
