About Voly Grampian Forest Rally 2026 - King George V Park
The Voly Grampian Forest Rally is one of Scotland's premier motorsport events, bringing some of the best drivers, the best cars and the best action to the forests surrounding the Banchory rally base, near Aberdeen.
It's a qualifying round of the British Rally Championship and Asset Alliance Group Scottish Rally Championship, and this year will also see some of the World Rally Championship elite tackle the Scottish stages as they prepare for Rally Scotland in 2027.
The 'Grampian' is a top-flight forest stage rally and offers motorsport fans and the local community the chance to get close to some of the stars and cars from across the UK, Europe and beyond.
Off the stages, the fan experience takes centre stage with the expansion of the popular Rally Zone at King George V Park in Banchory, which now includes pre-event technical checks on Friday morning, packed with trade stands, car displays, autograph sessions, and driver meet-and-greets.
The ceremonial start on Friday afternoon and finish on Saturday will also take place here, making it the hub for spectators looking to soak up the atmosphere – all free of charge.
The EMCO Spectator Stage at BA Barn in Kintore provides fans with an exciting new opportunity to witness the action up close. Designed specifically for spectators, this gravel stage offers superb visibility, extensive on-site parking and full facilities.
