About Branch Weaving for Kids - The Green

Unleash your childs creativity at the Festival with this event!

Join us for a unique, hands-on activity where children can connect with nature and unleash their inner artist. We'll provide a variety of collected branches, colorful yarn, ribbons, and natural decorations. Children will learn the simple yet satisfying technique of weaving, transforming a simple branch into a beautiful, personalized piece of hanging art.

No experience is needed, just enthusiasm!

All materials will be supplied, but feel free to bring along your own foraged treasures (feathers, shells, small rocks, etc.) if youd like to add your own personal touch.

The workshop will run for approximately 3 hours and be led by Cheryl Sangster, a local Birse resident originally from Canada, who is a self-taught weaver inspired by the beauty of the Scottish countryside.

Please note, this event will include a maximum of 10 children; parents can accompany. Feel free to take a snack and drink along!
