Run Balmoral - Balmoral Castle

Everyone is welcome at Run Balmoral, North-East Scotland's biggest mass participation sporting event.

Saturday (1 May 2027) plays host to the McIntosh Plant Hire 1.5km Primary Schools Race, the RAM Tubulars 2.5km Secondary Schools Race, the Harbour Energy 5km and the Stena Drilling 10km.

Sunday (2 May 2027) is trails day with two off-road events: the 6 Mile Trail Race and the James & George Collie 15 Mile Trail Race. Take on all four main events over the two days and you’ll become one of our John Clark Motor Group Devils of Deeside!

There's also a bustling event village and children's activity zone on the Saturday, with food and fun for all.

Every finisher receives a special medal commemorating the wildlife of the Balmoral Estate and has the option to purchase a fantastic Run Balmoral t-shirt when they register.

In addition, all runners and their guests will receive free access to Balmoral’s newly refurbished restaurant, Mews Gift Shop, stunning Estate grounds and woodland walks on the Saturday, plus the Castle Ballroom Exhibition on the Sunday, making Run Balmoral a perfect active day out for everyone.
