About Trinity Hall
Step inside our iconic city centre venue – Home of the Seven Incorporated Trades, Trinity Hall. Steeped in history, the building showcases a wealth of artefacts and knowledge, reflecting not only the trades themselves but Aberdeen as a whole. Founded in 1587 by Dr William Guild, Trinity Hall has consistently united the city’s merchant trades under one voice. The Seven Trades of Aberdeen consist of Hammermen, Bakers, Wrights and Coopers, Tailors, Shoemakers, Weavers, and Fleshers.Today, the hall is primarily used for trade meetings, held regularly. It is also open to the public as an event and corporate space. Past functions have included charity dinners, fashion shows, award ceremonies, corporate events, all-day business meetings, birthday parties, and engagement celebrations. With its beautiful antique stained-glass windows as a backdrop, Trinity Hall provides an ideal setting for photoshoots of any kind. From the forefathers of our city to the present day, Trinity Hall looks forward to welcoming you soon.
