The Grill

The Grill is a classic Scot’s standing pub located on Aberdeen’s main street. Established in 1870, the building originally operated as a restaurant with a billiard saloon for over 30 years before being converted into a pub. A 1926 refurbishment added significant architectural features, including an oxidised bronze frontage, intricate scrollwork, and mahogany veneer panelled interiors. Following the refurbishment, the bar was a men-only establishment until 1975.Centrally located, The Grill is surrounded by Aberdeen’s favourite restaurants and is just a short walk from theatres and music venues. The pub offers a welcoming environment for all ages, perfect for enjoying a drink and a chat.
