The Grill

Established in 1870, the building originally operated as a restaurant with a billiard saloon for over 30 years before being converted into a pub.

A 1926 refurbishment added significant architectural features, including an oxidised bronze frontage, intricate scrollwork, and mahogany veneer panelled interiors. Following the refurbishment, the bar was a men-only establishment until 1975.

Centrally located, The Grill is surrounded by Aberdeen’s favourite restaurants and is just a short walk from theatres and music venues.

The pub offers a welcoming environment for all ages, perfect for enjoying a drink and a chat. With a wide-ranging selection of cask and craft beers, and a whisky collection recognised when the bar was named World Whisky Bar of the Year, The Grill provides an exceptional experience for enthusiasts and casual visitors alike.
