About St Andrew Cathedral Church, Aberdeen

St Andrew's Episcopal Cathedral is one of the most architecturally distinguished buildings in Aberdeen City Centre, featuring work by Archibald Simpson, Sir Ninian Comper, and Robert Lorimer. As the Cathedral Church of the Diocese of Aberdeen and Orkney, its worship draws on the rich Anglican tradition of liturgy and music.Choral services are held every Sunday at 10:45 am and 3:30 pm, and a free concert takes place on Saturdays at noon. From June to September, the cathedral is open to visitors Tuesday to Friday from 10 am to 3 pm, with guides available. Visitors can also join a one-hour pilgrimage walking tour, led by cathedral guides, visiting four city centre locations significant to Aberdeen’s religious history.
