Seaton Park

Seaton Park, located to the north of Aberdeen, sits beside the south gates of the historic St Machar's Cathedral . The park offers a variety of beautiful areas to explore, from vibrant flowerbeds and rose gardens to the walled garden beside the old stables. The Cathedral Walk, especially resplendent in midsummer, is a favourite among visitors.Families will enjoy the popular children’s play area, while sports groups frequently make use of the large grassy expanses. Seaton Park also provides access to the River Don, with a walking path leading from the park to the city boundary.During the summer months (April to September), kayaking takes place on the river adjacent to the park. The Aberdeen Kayak Club has an equipment store on-site, offering equipment hire and taster sessions for beginners.Seaton Park has been recognised for its quality and maintenance, proudly receiving the Green Flag Award for 2021.
