Scot Surf

Based at Aberdeen’s beachfront, Scot Surf offers surf lessons, paddle board lessons, and equipment hire for those who just want to rent kit. Aberdeen is one of only ten UK cities with a beachfront, and Scot Surf provides full access to enjoy it.

Surf lessons last approximately 2.5 hours, with all equipment included in the price.

Equipment can also be rented separately and taken away, with proof of identification required.

Paddle board lessons are primarily conducted on the historic River Don, offering unique scenery from wildlife to historic buildings. Instructors also share local history while teaching paddle boarding skills. Paddle boarding lessons are also available on the sea, including guided trips to the end of the harbour, where dolphins are often spotted.

During the summer months, Scot Surf runs children’s camps, safety classes, and keeps an open shop on the beachfront.
