Visitors can also see the herd of wild Konik ponies grazing on the marsh. For serious birdwatchers, spring and autumn are prime times to observe an exceptional range of rare migrant birds at the reserve.Entrance to the visitor centre and reserve is free, and dogs on leads are welcome. There is disabled access to one hide and a stairlift to the upstairs viewing gallery in the Visitor Centre.
