About RSPB Fowlsheugh
As the largest mainland seabird colony on Scotland’s east coast, the cliffs support populations of some of the country’s most iconic birds, including guillemots, razorbills, kittiwakes, and a small number of puffins. Offshore, seals, dolphins, and other cetaceans enhance the unique and stunning environment of Fowlsheugh.
A colourful coastal cliff-top walk across grassland offers views of thousands of seabirds against the dramatic backdrop of 30-metre sea cliffs—a truly unforgettable experience. While the seabird spectacle is best from May to early August, Fowlsheugh offers a beautiful walk throughout the year.
