RSPB Fowlsheugh

About RSPB Fowlsheugh

The spectacular cliffs at Fowlsheugh are home to more than 130,000 breeding seabirds during the spring and summer months. As the largest mainland seabird colony on Scotland’s east coast, the cliffs support populations of some of the country’s most iconic birds, including guillemots, razorbills, kittiwakes, and a small number of puffins.Offshore, seals, dolphins, and other cetaceans enhance the unique and stunning environment of Fowlsheugh. A colourful coastal cliff-top walk across grassland offers views of thousands of seabirds against the dramatic backdrop of 30-metre sea cliffs—a truly unforgettable experience. While the seabird spectacle is best from May to early August, Fowlsheugh offers a beautiful walk throughout the year.Parking space is limited and not recommended for motorhomes. Please do not park in passing places along the road.
