Portlethen Golf Club

About Portlethen Golf Club

Portlethen Golf Club is conveniently located on the A90, just six miles south of Aberdeen city centre—making it an ideal stop for golfers travelling to or from the city from the south. Now regarded as one of the more popular parkland courses in the North East of Scotland, the course has matured beautifully thanks to its natural features—most notably the Findon Burn. Lined with mature broadleaf trees, the burn crosses five holes on the front nine, influencing both tee and approach shots.Portlethen has hosted a number of prestigious events, including the Scottish Under-16 Boys Stroke Play Championship in 2013 and the 72-hole North East Open, along with many other local tournaments.Golfers can choose between a gentle yet challenging 5,757-yard, Par 70, SSS 68 layout from the yellow tees, or opt for a tougher test from the white tees, which stretch the course to 6,449 yards, Par 72, SSS 71.
