Peterhead Golf Club

About Peterhead Golf Club

Nestled among the dunes and across the rugged Craigewan Links, Peterhead Golf Club offers a quintessential Scottish seaside golf experience – challenging, thrilling, and undeniably beautiful. Established in 1841, the club is one of the oldest in the world. The current 18-hole layout, known as Craigewan Links, was originally designed by Willie Park Jr., a two-time Open Championship winner. The course first opened as a 9-hole layout in 1892, later expanding to 18 holes in 1908. A second 18-hole course was established in 1923 and is now known as the New Course, though it exists today as a 9-hole layout. Whether you're playing the historic Craigewan Links or enjoying the more relaxed New Course, Peterhead Golf Club remains a must-visit destination for golf enthusiasts.
