About Newburgh Links
Newburgh on Ythan Golf Club is nestled between Cruden Bay Golf Club to the north and Trump International Aberdeen to the south. Founded in 1888 as a 9-hole course, it expanded to 18 holes in 1994. The new clubhouse, situated between the 1st and 10th tees, was officially opened in 2001 by 1999 Open Champion Paul Lawrie.Regularly featured in Scotland’s Top 100 Courses, Newburgh is located on one of the UK's finest golfing coastlines. While it may be overshadowed by larger courses nearby, it has earned a reputation as a "Hidden Gem" loved by golfers from near and far.The Taproom within the clubhouse offers a vibrant community hub for all ages. With pool tables, pinball machines, a variety of beers, delicious food, and a golf simulator, it's the perfect spot to unwind after a round or simply enjoy a casual day out.
