About Netherdale House

Netherdale House is a beautiful Georgian mansion in a peaceful corner of Scotland, overlooking the River Deveron. Offering luxury accommodation, intimate gatherings, and exclusive celebrations, the house reopened in May 2018 after an extensive renovation.

Guests can unwind in the elegant Drawing Room with fine antiques and an open fire, or in the Deveron Lounge, a cosy spot with a whisky barrel bar and views of the river. The luxurious guest suites are located in the West Wing, offering spectacular sunsets. The estate features a Games Room with a snooker table, a walled garden with fire pits, and a ‘Sitooterie’ with BBQ facilities, perfect for relaxed evenings. Guests can enjoy homemade picnic hampers, or try a “Lazy BBQ” with mini Highland Games activities. Complimentary bedtime treats—homemade truffles, Scottish tablet, and macaroons—are served with a hot drink or dram in your room. ‘Farm to Fork’ is the motto in the Grant family kitchen, with local produce featured throughout. The ‘Taste of Netherdale’ platter includes venison, pheasant, and wood pigeon from the estate. Guests are welcomed with a “fly cup 'n' fine piece,” a local treat of tea or coffee and homemade cakes. Netherdale House offers a relaxed atmosphere with a touch of luxury, making it the perfect destination for both leisure and events.
