About Maud Railway Museum
The Maud Railway Museum celebrates the history of the railway line connecting Aberdeen to Peterhead and Fraserburgh. Housed in the former station buildings at Maud Junction in rural Aberdeenshire, the museum highlights the area's railway heritage. All the tracks are now converted into cycle and footpaths, with many visitors arriving by bike along the Buchan and Formartine Way. The village has a local shop offering hot snacks and an outdoor seating area. The museum is fully accessible, with wheelchair access to all parts of the building. Admission is free, and Maud Station offers two car parks for those who prefer to drive.
