About Kinord Cross Pictish Stone
The Kinord Cross is a Class III Pictish cross slab located in the Muir of Dinnet National Nature Reserve.Dating from the later Pictish period, the stone features an ornate, interlace-filled cross that dominates its surface. The cross has three equal-length, square-ended arms, with spirals at each corner and circular hollows in the angles between the arms, all linked by a ring. Uniquely, the spirals at the base of the shaft are double, while the others are single.
