Set in tranquil surroundings – by the ocean or nestled in the mountains – these retreats provide an ideal escape from daily distractions.Between meditation sessions, enjoy walking along the coastal path, relaxing in a garden by the stream, or exploring the historic 17th-century harbour.Periods of silence are observed during retreats to help disengage from busyness, deepen contemplation, and settle the mind. Phones are turned off to fully support this peaceful environment.Led by Gen Kelsang Tubchen, a modern Buddhist nun with over 20 years’ experience, these retreats guide participants through practical meditations designed to create and maintain positive, peaceful states of mind.
