Driftwood Cottage - Moray Coast Cottages

Driftwood is a quintesssential seaside cottage, oozing character but also warm and comfortable, an ideal base from which to explore pretty Portsoy with its two harbours and the surrounding Aberdeenshire countryside. The cottage has a king size double bedroom, a good sized walk in shower room, lounge and kitchen all on the ground floor, so although it is not officially accessible it may suit those with some mobility issues. However it also has a twin room and play area upstairs which are great for those with young families (the low ceilings mean that tall teenagers may not appreciate a long holiday here!!) It is a great place to bring your four legged friends, as dogs are allowed on the beach all year round here. There are some fabulous walks directly from the cottage and there is an enclosed garden. This rises steeply from a small courtyard, past different terraces up to a summer house - an ideal spot to catch the last of the evening sunshine and to enjoy the views over the conservation area rooftops, out towards the dolphin statue and to the sea beyond...
