Doric Storytelling

Doric Books offers bespoke storytelling sessions in a location of your choice across the North-East of Scotland. Perhaps you would like to hear stories of local legends linked to a specific place, e.g. Jock the Giant of Bennachie or the ghosts of Fyvie Castle. Or maybe you prefer traditional tales like 'The Woman Who Flummoxed the Faeries' or 'Jack and the Skinny Coo'. Jackie Ross, professional storyteller, will create a personalised programme to suit the interests and ages of your group. And for a truly authentic experience she can introduce a dash of Doric (North-East dialect of Scots Language) into the tales.
