About Deeside Gliding Club

Fly silently over Royal Deeside and enjoy spectacular views of the Cairngorms National Park with Deeside Gliding Club. You will fly in a two-seater glider with a fully trained instructor. See how a glider works, enjoy the scenery, take photos or all of these. The trial flight fee includes a month's membership, which allows you to fly again at club member rates. So, after your trial flight, book a full instructional flight and learn how to fly with no further costs other than normal flying fees. All launches are by Aerotow - where an aircraft pulls the glider into the sky and releases. Depending on the weather you can try to soar. These gliders can soar like birds and stay airborne for hours flying you hundreds of miles across country, and climb thousands of feet - the UK height record was set at this club. Simulator available for teaching flying lessons when the weather is bad.
