Atholl Hotel

The Atholl has 34 recently refurbished bedrooms, all with en-suite facilities, Sky Sports channels, and complimentary Wi-Fi.

The rooms are traditionally decorated with all the facilities one would expect from a Visit Scotland Four Star Hotel, each with satellite television, direct dial telephone, trouser press, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, and tea and coffee making facilities.

The hotel has already undertaken major building work, converting two rooms to include additional disabled facilities, and has also installed a passenger lift from the hotel reception area to the first-floor bedrooms and function suites.

Guests can choose to dine in either the Restaurant, Bar, or Lounge, each serving fresh local produce where possible, with traditional and varied menus that change seasonally.

The extensive menu offers something to suit everyone, including a selection of vegetarian dishes, lighter and healthier options, and daily specials. Their chefs are always happy to assist with any dietary requirements and preferences — please just ask a member of the team.

For younger diners, they offer a children's menu containing smaller portions of some of the classic dishes on the menu, as well as some children's favourites.

Their famous "Atholl Favourites" use simple local ingredients to produce delicious traditional fare.

The homely and comfortable front lounge is a friendly and popular meeting place where you can enjoy a more relaxed dining experience, or simply a coffee and a cake while taking in the view of the city.

It is recommended to book in advance for the restaurant for tables up to 12 people, or you can head along to the bar and lounge, which operates on a first-come, first-served basis.
