Aberdeen Sports Village

Aberdeen Sports Village is the premier sport and exercise facility in Scotland, hosting an array of world class sporting facilities. A partnership between the University of Aberdeen, Aberdeen City Council and Sport Scotland, the Village first opened to the public in August 2009. Aberdeen Sports Village provide world class sport and exercise opportunities for everyone in the community. Providing the opportunity for Aberdeen to host national and international aquatics competitions and being a base for local swimming, Aberdeen Sports Village's world class Aquatics Centre offers: 50m, 10 lane training and competition pool - a dividing boom allows the pool to be split into two distinct areas; 25m pool with full floating floor and full diving facilities including springboards and platforms up to 10m; Spectator seating for 500; Exercise Studio; Cafe. Aberdeen Sports Village has be awarded the best sporting event by Aberdeen City and Tourism Awards 2017. They have also be shortlisted as a finalist for the best sporting event at Scottish Thistle Awards 2018 and outstanding contribution to society at the Northern Star Business Awards 2017.
