Linda Cracknell is a writer of narrative non-fiction relating to the great outdoors, as well as of fiction and radio drama.
At this year’s Aboyne and Deeside Festival, she will be speaking and reading from her work, particularly about how the act of walking underpins her writing, allowing insights into places, imagination and memory.
This year sees a new edition of her book 'Doubling Back: Paths Trodden in Memory' which was a BBC Radio Four ‘Book of the Week’ and which charts her walks in the footsteps of others.
