Dating from 1030, Dalgetie Castle is steeped in Scottish history, yet still gives the atmosphere of a lived in home. It has some of the finest painted ceilings in Scotland dating from 1592 and 1597; the bedchamber where Mary Queen of Scots slept; boasts Victorian clothes, fine furniture and paintings displayed throughout.  Delgatie also has the widest turnpike stair in Britain.

We serve wonderful award winning home-baking and lunches in the Laird's Kitchen, all made from local produce in the Castle kitchen.

There is a Gift shop, a Fishery and Self-Catering apartments in the Castle and Coachhouse.
